About the Designer
For over thirty years, Taracea has created uniquely crafted wooden furniture made out of recovered wood, sourced in a way that exerts the least amount of pressure on the environment. Named for an ancient artisanal technique — which means the joining together of different wood species or the use of decorative elements in the woodwork — the brand still makes use of traditional woodworking artistry to fashion their one-of-a-kind pieces. With a focus on both beauty and functionality, each slab of wood used by a Taracea master craftsman has a story, setting the brand apart from its contemporaries.
