About the Designer

District Eight was founded in order to showcase the best of traditional Vietnamese woodworking. Founded in 2010 and based in a grand colonial townhouse on the banks of the Saigon River in Ho Chi Mink City, Vietnam, District Eight was one of the first firms in the country to merge design and build. Priding themselves on creating handcrafted furnishings that combine industrial elements with modern aesthetics, they create gorgeous wood-based pieces that reflect the raw, bold character of their Southeast Asian surroundings.
